Bookings
A booking is confirmed once you accept the quote we email and pay a 50% deposit. The person booking must be 25 or older and stay in the house. Minimum stays are listed on each house page.
Check-in and house rules
Check-in is 4 PM and check-out is 10 AM. Quiet hours run from 10 PM to 8 AM, there is no smoking inside, and no parties or events without our written approval. Guests may not exceed the number listed for each house.
Changes and cancellations
Free changes and cancellations up to 30 days before arrival
Within 30 days we refund the nights we are able to rebook, minus a $50 fee
Full weeks in July and August and the Full week offer use a 60 day policy
We will tell you at least 30 days ahead about any change to our rates
Payment
A 50% deposit is charged when you confirm, and the balance 30 days before arrival. Gift cards are valid for two years from purchase.
Damage
Accidents happen on vacation. Tell us and we will sort it out together; we only charge for damage beyond normal wear, and we never hold a separate security deposit.
Local events
Events in our local guide are run by local businesses. Their own terms, prices and refunds apply, and dates can change.
Pets and property
Dogs are welcome at the Birch Cabin, the River Cabin and the Glen Lake House for $75 a stay, up to two dogs. Guests are responsible for their pets and belongings, and the lake is enjoyed at your own risk.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
