Color Paddle on the Crystal River
A slow two-hour paddle under maples at peak color, guided by a local outfitter.
A local outfitter runs one guided paddle at peak color: two hours on the slow, shallow river, with stops where the maples hang over the water.
Kayaks, paddles and life jackets are included. The put-in is four minutes from the River Cabin and the Birch Cabin, and the river is easy enough for kids over eight.
