Apples, squash and cider donuts at the Glen Arbor market, five minutes from every house.
The Saturday market in Glen Arbor runs until the last weekend of October, and harvest Saturday is the big one: twelve farms, cider donuts fried on the spot and the first of the late apples.
Bring a bag and come early for the honeycrisps. Every house has a cooler in the mudroom if you plan to stock up for the week.
